- High School in Pardubice, specialization: food technologies (1995 - 99).
- Master degree in analytical chemistry - University of Pardubice, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Department of Analytical Chemistry (1999 - 2004), diploma thesis “Analysis of natural mixtures of triacylglycerols by HPLC/MS technique”.
- Ph.D. study (2004-2008), University of Pardubice, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Ph.D. thesis “Characterization of Triacylglycerol Composition in Natural Samples Using HPLC/MS” under the supervision of Prof. Michal Holčapek, Ph.D.

- Research worker at Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Pardubice.
Research Interests
- Mass spectrometry and its coupling with high-performance liquid chromatography, applications in the analyses of natural compounds, mainly lipids.

- Diploma thesis “Analysis of Natural Mixtures of Triacylglycerols by HPLC/MS Technique” awarded the special prize of jury in competition for “Prize of Merck company” (Ostrava, Czech Republic, February 2004).
- Diploma thesis “Analysis of Natural Mixtures of Triacylglycerols by HPLC/MS Technique” awarded the third prize by Jureček̛s foundation at University of Pardubice (June 2004).
- “Applied Physical Chemistry Award” for outstanding research accomplishments in the field of chromatography presented at the 30th International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2006) donated by István Halász Foundation (June 2006).
- Co-author of the best work in the clinical pharmacology in 2006 awarded by the Czech Society for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology of Czech Medical Society J.E. Purkyně.
